CAIRO, Ill. -- Minnie McCollum, 91, of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 12, 1994, at the Charleston Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 19, 1902, at Cache, Ill., daughter of David and Ida Cauble Bauer.
She married James B. McCollum. He died in 1978.
McCollum was a member of the Tigert United Memorial Methodist Church.
She and her husband were the founders and former owners of Macks Bar-Be-Que and Restaurant in Cairo.
Survivors include a son, James McCollum of Cairo; two grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, two sisters and four brothers.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Villa Ridge, Ill., with the Rev. Kenneth Provines officiating. Burial will follow.
