CHARLESTON -- Funeral service for Minnie Mae Upchurch, formerly of Charleston, will be held at 1 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.
Upchurch, 61, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1992, at Sikeston Health Care Center.
She was born June 18, 1931, at Charleston, daughter of Luther Ray and Mae Belle Duvall Sherrion. He and Homer Upchurch were married in June 1973. He died Jan. 11, 1990.
Upchurch was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Charles Sherrion of Gradin; three stepsons, Edward, Sammy and James Upchurch of Kenton, Tenn.; three stepdaughters, Martha Primrose of Newberry, Tenn., Rosie Reed of Kenton, and Roberts Parham of Dresden, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
