MOUND CITY, Ill. -- Minnie Pearl Henderson, 59, of Mound City died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born Oct. 5, 1940, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of Jesse James and Mary Spencer Davis. She married Charles Henderson, who preceded her in death.

Henderson attended Love Joy Public School, and was a member of Zion Traveler Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Taryrsh Davis of Joliet; three daughters, Tracyna Davis of Elgin, Tanjah and Thomasina Davis of Mound City; and a stepson, Donald Kerby of Chicago.

Also surviving are three brothers, Raymond Davis of Villa Ridge, Charles Davis of Riverside, Calif., Roy Davis of New Carrollton, Md.; five sisters, Dorris Berry of Joliet, Jessie Floyd of Temple Hill, Md., Shirley Bond of Elgin, Geraldine Terry and Betty Rucker of Mound City; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Traveler Church, with the Rev. Carlton Berry officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.

Friends may call at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time.

Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
