CAIRO, Ill. -- Minnie H. Quellmalz, 95, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, May 7, 1994, at the St. Peters Villa Nursing Home in Memphis.
She was born Oct. 21, 1898, at Omaha, Neb., daughter of Gus and Josephine Pearson Olson.
She married Charles Quellmalz. He died in 1961.
Quellmalz was a member of the Acension Tower Lutheran Church in Memphis and the Cairo American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Flanigan and Darleen Caughlin, both of Memphis; a sister, Vivian Rogers of Omaha; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jesse Hendrix officiating.
Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Ill.
