SIKESTON -- Minnie Marie Clayton, 82, 101 Cresap in Sikeston, died Saturday July 9, 1994 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 25, 1911 in Lutesville, the daughter of John and Alcy Fowler Bragg. On Nov. 4, 1933 she married William Clayton in Charleston, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1958.

Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Parks of Poplar Bluff, and one grandson, Douglas Parks of Poplar Bluff. She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.

She was a housewife and a foster grandmother, and had previously worked for International Shoe Co. in Sikeston. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Services will be held at the chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Bryan Davis, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
