Minnie O. Bush, 93, of Jackson died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born May 12, 1910, at Kurreville, Mo., daughter of Louis and Wilhelmine Haupt Schmidt. She and Charley Bush were married March 20, 1954. He died Jan. 1, 1961...

Minnie O. Bush, 93, of Jackson died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 12, 1910, at Kurreville, Mo., daughter of Louis and Wilhelmine Haupt Schmidt. She and Charley Bush were married March 20, 1954. He died Jan. 1, 1961.

Mrs. Bush was baptized at Kurreville Lutheran Church in 1910, and confirmed in 1923 at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville, where she was a lifelong member.

Survivors include a stepson, Norbert Bush of Advance, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Charlsie Auspach of Advance; several stepgrandchildren; eight nieces, Mildred Hartle, Minnie Compas and Shirley Heise, all of Cape Girardeau, Kathleen Bush of Kansas City, Kan., Alleen Boswell of St. Louis, Betty Schmittzehe of Monroe, La., Dolores Strop and Shirley Kinkade of Memphis, Tenn.; two nephews, Harold Haertling of Chula Vista, Calif., and Bob Sandvoss of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, a niece, and a nephew.

Friends may call today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 11 a.m. until time of service.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Hoffstetter officiating. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran Cemetery at Gordonville.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Christ Lutheran Church Building Fund, Southeast Hospice, or American Heart Association.
