EAST PRAIRIE -- Milton Lee "Mutt" Grogan of East Prairie died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1997, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was 71.
He was born Jan. 16, 1926, at Dorena, son of John and Elizabeth McBride Grogan. He had lived in Mississippi County most of his life, where he was a retired farmer. He was of the Baptist faith.
On Nov. 14, 1953, he married Bessie Brown. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Gary Grogan of East Prairie; a sister, Jeanette Carden of East Prairie; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, daughter, five brothers and sister.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Shelby Chapel, with Brother Ed Jolley of Morley officiating. Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
