FISK -- Millie Standridge, 79, of Fisk died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born April 24, 1919, in Atkins, Ark., daughter of Francis Marion and Almeda Coffman King. She and Duel Standridge were married July 27, 1935, in Atkins.
Standridge lived in California 20 years, returning to the Dexter and Fisk areas in 1984.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Cecil Standridge of Sacramento, Calif., Duwayne Standridge of Denison, Texas, Wilburn Standridge of Cross City, Fla.; a daughter, Francis Miller of Fisk; a brother, Orville King of Circle City; a sister, Mary Deal of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Henry Jordan and H. Worth officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex.
