DAISY -- Milford G. Hobeck, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 1995, at his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1921, near Daisy, son of Elmer F. and Retta M. Barks Hobeck. DAISY -- Milford G. Hobeck, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 5, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 6, 1921, near Daisy, son of Elmer F. and Retta M. Barks Hobeck. On Sept. 16, 1943, he married Verna Brune at Friedheim.

Hobeck owned and operated a farm near Daisy. He also worked at the David McDowell Construction Co.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Hobeck of Jackson, Ronald Hobeck of Daisy and Ken Hobeck of Oak Ridge; a daughter, Joyce Ourth of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Floyd Hobeck of Friedheim and Gifford Hobeck of Jackson; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and an infant daughter.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Methodist Cemetery at Daisy.
