MARQUAND, Mo. -- Mildred E. Yount, 79, of Marquand died Monday, April 9, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 6, 1921, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Henry A. and Bertha Henson Kirkpatrick. She and Dale C. Yount were married April 12, 1941, at Patton, Mo. He died May 8, 1975...

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Mildred E. Yount, 79, of Marquand died Monday, April 9, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 6, 1921, at Blodgett, Mo., daughter of Henry A. and Bertha Henson Kirkpatrick. She and Dale C. Yount were married April 12, 1941, at Patton, Mo. He died May 8, 1975.

Yount was a member of Union Light Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, James Yount of Millersville, Mo., Lynn Yount of Jackson, Mo.; four daughters, Rae McDowell and Rita Rehkop of Fredericktown, Mo., Debbie Moore of Perryville, Mo., Kela Yount of Marquand; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday after 9:30 a.m. at Union Light Church.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Donald Sander officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
