SIKESTON -- Mildred Wilson, 80, of Sikeston died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 30, 1917, in Samos, daughter of Ewing Green and Bertha Edna Elder Showmaker. She married Lloyd Wilson, who died July 19, 1995.
Wilson had worked in sales with Rhodes-Burfords, and had been regional manager for Stanley Home Products.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge, and former secretary for the Teamsters Union.
Survivors include a son, Mike Wilson of Jackson; two daughters, Patsy Donze of Sikeston, Sue Jeffords of St. Charles; two sisters, Thelma Peters of Bertrand, Mae Levill of Charleston; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, and brother.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ed Pangburn officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
