WAPPAPELLO -- Mildred Willis, 91, of Wappapello died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance.
She was born May 16, 1908, in Stoddard County, daughter of Harry and Ada Dixon McKinley. She and Joseph Schmidt were married in April 1934. He preceded her in death. She later married William Willis Sept. 29, 1948. He died July 29, 1995.
Willis was a member of Little Brushy Missionary Baptist Church at Puxico.
Survivors include a brother, John McKinley of Dexter; three sisters, Faye Looney of Yellville, Ark., Bess McFerron of Park Hills, Jessie Cato of Zalma; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, and four brothers.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
