Mildred Wadley

CAIRO, Ill. -- Mildred Lee Wadley, 86, of Cairo died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Gir­ar­deau.

She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in Mounds, Ill., daughter of Lee and Virgia Jennings Henderson. She married Vernon Wadley, who preceded her in death.

Wadley was a member of Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Williams of Cairo, Lee Anne Hood of Murphysboro, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons and a brother.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.

The funeral will be at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Danny Hood officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
