ANNA, Ill. -- Mildred I. Stokes, 82, of Anna died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Jonesboro Health Center.
She was born July 17, 1916, in Pulaski County, daughter of Sylvester and Dora Mize Seals. She married Roy "Pete" Stokes. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Nazarene Church in Anna.
Survivors include four sons, Jerry Hunter and Bill Daley, both of Jonesboro, Jack Stokes and Rodney Stokes, both of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Rosemary Miller of Maryville, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Floy Sullivan of Anna; a sister, Myrtle Jones of California; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a stepson, a grandson, five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ralph Lee officiating.
Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
