Mildred M. Sander, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 23, 1925, at Oak Ridge, daughter of Thomas M. and Hattie Hartle Mayfield. She and David G. Sander were married Nov. 29, 1944, at Gordonville.
Sander was a medical secretary at Southeast Missouri Hospital from 1953-70. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dr. Paul Sander of Belleville, Ill., G. Thomas Sander of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Laura Kay Kesterson and Marti Beasley of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel. The Rev. Gary Brothers will officiate. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
