SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Mildred K. Porch of Scott City will be held at 1 p.m. today at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The Rev. Bennie Hodge will officiate, with burial in Memorial Gardens.
Porch, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 1996, at her home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Buckner, Ill.
Porch had been a secretary at Anderson's Home Furnishings. She lived in Poplar Bluff most of her life, moving to Scott City six years ago. She was a member of Collins Chapel General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.
Survivors include two sons, Jesse Porch of Ballwin, Ronald Porch of Dexter; two daughters, Vernetta Ousnamer of Little Rock, Ark., Patricia Modglin of Scott City; four brothers, Bennie Hodge of Cadiz, Ky., Charles, James and Jerry Hodge of Poplar Bluff; three sisters, Edith Parshall of Poplar Bluff, Norma Hawkins of Carbondale, Ill., Donnie Goins of Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
