ANNA, Ill. -- Mrs. Mildred B. Peeler, 94, of Anna died at 4:35 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at her daughter's home in East Cape Girardeau, Ill.
She was born March 2, 1916, at Villa Ridge, Ill., the daughter of Robert and Etta Wright Johnson.
She married Koble L. "Dick" Peeler on Dec. 17, 1932, in Dongola, Ill. He preceded her in death April 17, 1985.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Marilyn Needham of East Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Koble; one son, Richard Peeler; one grandson; one great-grandson; four brothers; and three sisters.
Mildred was a member of the Anna Heights Baptist Church for many years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred B. Peeler will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna, with Rev. Mike Parry officiating. Interment will be in the American Legion Cemetery in Dongola, Ill. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home.
