Mildred McNeely, 86, 2530 Peach Tree, died Wednesday, July 3, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born July 21, 1904, at Leemon, daughter of David and Rosalie Query McKee. She married Archie McNeely Oct. 2, 1925. He died Aug. 6, 1980.
McNeely was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church, having moved her membership from Apple Creek at Pocahontas to First Presbyterian in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Presbyterian Women and Sinawik. Before her marriage she taught at the former Brooks School north of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include three sons, Don McNeely of Cape Girardeau, Jerry McNeely of Los Angeles, Calif., Joe McNeely of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Jane Bruns of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Charles Grant will officiate, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 5-8 p.m. today.
