Mildred Margolies, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1996, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Dec. 19, 1912, daughter of David and Rose Bressler Sternberg. She and Sol Margolies were married in 1935. Mildred Margolies, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1996, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 19, 1912, daughter of David and Rose Bressler Sternberg. She and Sol Margolies were married in 1935.

Formerly of Surfside, Fla., Margolies graduated from Florida Atlantic University, and received a master's degree in education from the University of Miami.

She taught English in Dade County, Fla., Schools.

Survivors include a daughter, Lynn Margolies of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapel in Miami Beach, Fla.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
