MILDRED L. GERHARTER

FROHNA -- Mildred L. Gerharter, 80, of Frohna died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born March 9, 1919, in Frohna, daughter of Rudolf and Bertha Kaufmann Popp. She and Delmar Carl Gerharter were married Oct. 12, 1941. He died Oct. 3, 1984.

Gerharter was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid in Frohna and the Frohna Extension Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia of St. Louis, and two sisters, Alida Oberndorfer of Perryville and Elvira Scholl of Frohna.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, with the Rev. Wayne Palmer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
