MILDRED L. BROWN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Mildred Lee Brown, 69, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 9, 1924, in Obion County, Tenn., daughter of Jesse and Mary Fobar Priest. She and William Raymond Brown were married March 20, 1941. He died Dec. 31, 1980.

Brown was a member of Full Gospel Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lionell Brown of East Prairie, Raymond Brown of Sikeston; a daughter, Peggy Benson of East Prairie; a brother, Charles Priest of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Ann Duty and Aline Tompkins of East Prairie, Helen Sanders and Nell Mainord of Cape Girardeau, Jesselyne Ray of Clinton, Ky., Edith Clark of Oklahoma, and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt will officiate, with burial in Anniston Cemetery at Anniston.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
