EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mildred I. Williford of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Ernest Brown will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
Williford, 80, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, 1995, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Decatur County, Tenn., daughter of Will and Martha E. Johns Cotham. She and Lonzo Marvin Williford were married Dec. 20, 1930. He died June 13, 1984.
Williford was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Marshall Williford of St. Louis, Bobby Williford of East Prairie, Gene Williford of Chicago, Bill Williford of West Frankfort, Ill., Frank Williford of Bridgeton; a daughter, Betty Brock of Chicago; a brother, Hillard Cotham of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Myrtle Johnson of St. Peters; 17 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was presented in death by a daughter.
