EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Mildred Louise Hill, 59, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Sept. 4, 1943, at Hayti, Mo., daughter of Charlie and Zella Bruce Wilson. She and Alfred Hill were married Oct. 15, 1960, at Benton, Mo.
Hill lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She owned and operated Mildred's Beauty Shop 23 years. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church at Matthews, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Dee Loomes and Alicia Loomes of East Prairie; six brothers, Ray Wilson of East Prairie, Norman and George Wilson of Puxico, Ronnie Wilson of Morley, Mo., Brian Wilson of Michigan, Charlie Wilson of Dover, Ark.; three sisters, Bonnie Boyd of Dover, Janie Barker of Campbell, Mo., Faye Brainer of Benton, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rodney Dunlap and George Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
