SIKESTON -- Mildred Fox Dalton, 80, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 26, 1994, at Meadowbrook Manor in Springfield.
She was born May 19, 1914, in Mississippi County, the daughter of Hascal and Hontas Clay McCuiston Fox. On May 20, 1933, she married Bernard R. Dalton, who preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1974.
She was a secretary for the Kansas Department of Social Services until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sikeston.
Survivors include a son, James Dalton of Lakewood, Colo.; a daughter, Patty Faszholz of Springfield; three brothers, Russell Fox of Wheaton, Ill., Jeff Fox of Belleville, Ill., and Ralph Fox of Oklahoma City, Okla; two sisters, Frances Farris of Sikeston and Martha Evans of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m Tuesday. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
