DELTA -- Funeral service for Mildred Elizabeth Crowden of Delta will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Arvil Huffman and Larry Stephenson will officiate. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Crowden, 65, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 1997, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1932, in McNare, Tenn., daughter of Fred and Gladys Grisswell Bickings.
Crowden worked 30 years at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Crowden of Hewitt, Texas, Nate Crowden of Jackson; four daughters, Marilyn Trankle and Robbin Grissom of Chaffee, Phyllis Broshuis of Whitewater, Gail Nanney of Marble Hill; four brothers, Raymond Bickings of Cape Girardeau, Ricky Bickings of Alto Pass, Ill., Charles Bickings of Plainwell, Mich., R.B. Bickings of Benton, Ill.; two sisters, Catherine Farris of Chaffee, Wanda Burns of Perkins; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a grandson.
