GIPSY, Mo. -- Mildred Leatta Talley Buehler, 92, of Gipsy passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Advance Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 10, 1922, at Zalma, Missouri, daughter of Benjamin and Stella Deckard Talley. She and Luther Herman Buehler were married Sept. 28, 1940, at Gipsy. He preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1996...

GIPSY, Mo. -- Mildred Leatta Talley Buehler, 92, of Gipsy passed away Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1922, at Zalma, Missouri, daughter of Benjamin and Stella Deckard Talley. She and Luther Herman Buehler were married Sept. 28, 1940, at Gipsy. He preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1996.

Mildred was a member of Berrong General Baptist Church in Zalma. She enjoyed making quilts and sold several all over the world.

Survivors include three sons, Larry (Rebecca) Buehler of Zalma, Mike (Velva) Buehler of Advance, Missouri, and David (Kimberly) Buehler of Gipsy; a daughter, Mona (David) Hamlyn of Gipsy; four brothers, Doyle Talley of Gipsy, Glendale Talley of Collinsville, Illinois, Leeroy Talley of Alton, Illinois, and Dean Talley of St. Louis; two sisters, Marie Talley Carter of Collinsville and Lena Talley Spear of Farmington, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Lisa Buehler Mott, Tony Buehler, TaTina Buehler Gifford, Angie Charles Huebner, Heather Buehler Toll, Amber Dawn Buehler and Chad Buehler; nine great-grandchildren, Haley Gifford, Amber Mott, Nathan Gifford, Emily Mott, Kaima Manuel, Koen Buehler, Shane Huebner, Adalynn Buehler and Alyssa Buehler; three stepgrandchildren; and eight great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers, Russell, August, Manford, Willard and Ivan Talley, and a baby brother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. LeeRoy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery near Zalma.
