MILDRED BARNES

Funeral service for Mildred Barnes of Bowdon, Ga., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Almon Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ga. The Revs. John Riley and Pat Heuer will officiate, with burial in Carroll Memory Gardens.

Barnes, 85, died Wednesday, May 3, 1995, at Tanner Medical Center.

She was born in Cape Girardeau, daughter of E.H. and Della Mae Collins Pittman. She married the Rev. Ray Barnes.

Barnes moved to Carroll County, Ga., eight years ago from Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Victor Barnes of Bowdon; a brother, Metford Pittman of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
