Funeral service for Mildred Bernice Harwell, 2766 Gordonville Road, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Harwell, 85, died Wednesday, July 15, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born March 1, 1907, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of W.H. and Alma Kurre Stout. She and Norman L. Harwell were married Jan. 10, 1926. He died Nov. 5, 1988.
Harwell was a switchboard operator at Farmers and Merchants Bank, and had also worked at the former Goodwin's Gift Shop. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Alamanders Square Dance Club.
Survivors include a son, William Harwell of Sedona, Ariz.; a daughter, Marilyn Kelly of Jackson; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
