COBDEN, Ill. -- Mildred B. Aldridge, 88, of Cobden died Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, at her home.
She was born May 31, 1909, in Anna, daughter of John Wesley and Emma J. Treece Baggott.
Aldridge retired as a fancy stitcher at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Anna. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Cobden.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Millspaugh of Litchfield Park, Ariz.; a son, Jon Aldridge of Hurst, Texas; a brother, Elmer Baggott of Chillicothe; two sisters, Rita Williams of Cobden, Sula Baggott of Anna; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, five brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday after 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
