ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Mike S. Daniel of Fredericktown will be held today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Naamon Eaker will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park.

Daniel, 85, died Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at Delmar Garden North Nursing Home in Florissant.

He was born Aug. 17, 1906, in Humphreys County, Tenn., son of Robert and Martha Mitchell Daniel. He married the former Mildred Garner.

Daniel was a retired farmer.

Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Rodgers of Florissant, Sue Clark of St. Charles; two brothers, Brady Daniel of St. Louis, Bert Daniel of Erwin, Tenn.; a sister, Bernice Daniel of Nashville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
