MIKE IVIE

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Mike Ivie of East Prairie will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Burl Britt will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Charleston National Guard.

Ivie, 22, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 9, 1972, in Little Rock, Ark., son of Roy and Barbara Allen Ivie.

Ivie moved here three years ago from Shreveport, La. He was a construction worker, and member of Charleston National Guard.

Survivors include a daughter, Peyton Ivie; his parents; two brothers, Jeff Sutton and David Ivie, all of East Prairie; a sister, Cherie Escamille of San Antonio, Texas, and a grandfather, Eurie "Butch" Kestner of East Prairie.

He was preceded in death by grandparents.
