CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Michael Schoelhamer, 74, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at his home. He was born April 14, 1936, in Leadwood, Mo., son of Karl Willham and Mary Helen Tyndyk Schoelhamer. He and Euna Fay Barlow were married Sept. 24, 1988...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Michael Schoelhamer, 74, of Chaffee died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010, at his home.

He was born April 14, 1936, in Leadwood, Mo., son of Karl Willham and Mary Helen Tyndyk Schoelhamer. He and Euna Fay Barlow were married Sept. 24, 1988.

Michael retired from Boilermakers Local 27 in St. Louis as a welder. He was a member of Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill Schoelhamer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a daughter, Lisa Manning of Farmington, Mo.; a stepson, Jeff Newsom of Portageville, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Lisa Head of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Ken Schoelhamer of Festus, Mo., Chris Schoelhamer of Warrenton, Mo.; three sisters, Thresa Lunsford of Festus, Joyce Kitchell of DeSoto, Mo., Mary Ann Sansousi of Old Mines, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Darren Larkin officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
