Michael Steven Nabors Collins, 32, of 904 S. Ellis in Cape Girardeau died Friday, April 10, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Sept. 11, 1959, in Sikeston, the son of John Collins of St. Louis and Vera Rollins of Cape Girardeau.
He formerly lived in Sikeston and attended Sikeston and Cape Girardeau public schools. He was of the Pentecostal denomination.
Other survivors include his step-father, Vernon Rollins of Cape Girardeau; a step-brother, Rodney Sims of St. Louis; five sisters, Audrea Faye Mhoon and Aleisha Nabors, both of Cape Girardeau, Renee Griffin of Sikeston and Antonia and Latoya Collins, both of St. Louis; and grandparents, the Rev. James and Lottie Nabors of Sikeston and Everlina Collins of Chicago.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Beams of Heaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sikeston. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Stafford Moore will give the eulogy, and burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
