CHAFFEE, Mo. — Michael Mirly, son of the late Marvin "Mert" and Loretta Henson Mirly, was born April 23, 1958, in Atlanta and departed his life Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 64 years. He was a truck driver for many years, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a resident of Chaffee. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren...

CHAFFEE, Mo. — Michael Mirly, son of the late Marvin "Mert" and Loretta Henson Mirly, was born April 23, 1958, in Atlanta and departed his life Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau at the age of 64 years.

He was a truck driver for many years, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a resident of Chaffee. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

On July 26, 1980, Michael was united in marriage to Debbie Kirn in Chaffee. She survives of the home in Chaffee.

Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Geoff (Bridget) Mirly of Chaffee; daughter, Amanda (Jason) Chapman of Chaffee; brother, Doug (Robin) Mirly of Ballwin, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Madison Chapman, Cooper Chapman, Kynlee Mirly and Krue Mirly.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
