Michael Eugene McMillan, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Nov. 17, 1951, in Oran, Missouri, to Oliver Scott Sr. and Helen Ruth Atkins McMillan. He married Janet Lee White on April 16, 1976, and she preceded him in death May 11, 2019.

He was a forklift operator for DHL and was a member of Life Church in Sikeston, Missouri. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by three brothers, Denver (Pauline) McMillan of Dexter, Missouri, Bill (Jane) McMillan of Scott City and Charlie (Sharon) McMillan of Sikeston; five sisters, Christina (late Emory) Wondel of Warrenton, Missouri, Ann (Harley) Boze of Scott City, Pat (Jerry) Terry of Republic, Missouri, Gerry Lasater of Columbia, Missouri, and Mary (Bob) Yount of Fredericktown, Missouri; a sister by marriage, Karen Stallings and her son and granddaughter, Tony and Kadie Stallings, all of Sikeston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Oliver Scott Jr. and Marion Davis.

A special thanks to Ratliff Care Center and Southeast Hospice.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darren DeLoach officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri
