Michael Lee Mallard, 50, of Sikeston died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 10, 1956, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Rolland L. and Bernice Traw Mallard. He and Angie Morse were married Nov. 10, 2004.
Mallard was employed by Stockade Buildings.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Mallard of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, Emily McMenamy of Potosi, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Samantha Watkins of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Sandra Webb of Oran, Mo.; Teresa Parker of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the eulogy given by Riche Walker. Burial will be in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo., with full military honors.
