Michael Geroid Lix, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, of natural causes.
Mike was born Feb. 13, 1959, in Chaffee, Missouri, the son of Geroid and Ella Goetz Lix. He and Debbie Eldridge were united in marriage June 2, 1995, in Cape Girardeau.
Mike was an Air Force veteran, avid hunter, crappie fisherman and loved to watch movies.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Lix; a son, Ryan B. Rhodes of Jackson; a daughter, Leah N. (Charlie) Eldridge of Jackson; his father, Geroid (Evelyn) Lix of Jackson; a brother, Chris (Kim) Lix of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Kathy Lix (Alan) Jones of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Dana Lix (Pat) Norris of Marion, Illinois; five grandchildren, Tristan, Cameron, Abby, Lainey and Joshua; several nephews and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Marie Lix, and a niece, Danielle Jones.
Per Mike's wishes, there will be no services.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Yarber Mortuary of Mountain View, Missouri.
