Michael H. Hurst, 75, of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. He was born Dec. 8, 1946, to Hubert and Helen Crader Hurst. On April 27, 1968, he married Florence May, and she passed away Oct. 13, 2016. Michael is survived by his daughter, Sara (Bryan) Doyen of Jackson; brother, Dennis (Barbara) Hurst of Jackson; two grandchildren, Kase Doyen and Kye Doyen; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends...
Michael H. Hurst, 75, of Jackson passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 8, 1946, to Hubert and Helen Crader Hurst. On April 27, 1968, he married Florence May, and she passed away Oct. 13, 2016.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Sara (Bryan) Doyen of Jackson; brother, Dennis (Barbara) Hurst of Jackson; two grandchildren, Kase Doyen and Kye Doyen; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Gary Hurst; and sister, Doris Hurst.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Crader Cemetery near Crump.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Masonic Home of Missouri.
