Funeral mass for Michael G. Garner, 1402 Dunklin, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. Msgr. Edward Eftink will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
Garner, 27, died Sunday, July 2, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident near Shawneetown.
He was born Sept. 29, 1967, in Cape Girardeau, son of Otto Wayne and Theresa M. Johnston Garner. He and Kathleen Mullins were married June 16, 1985.
Garner was a 1985 graduate of Oak Ridge High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He had worked at Cape Electric Supply the past three years. He had also worked at McDowell Service Station in Fruitland, and Rapco Inc. in Jackson. He was a member of Cape Electric's softball team.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Travis Garner of the home; a daughter, Hilary Garner of the home; his mother of Oak Ridge; a brother, Peter Garner of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Laura Reimann of Perryville, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Johnston of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his father, a son and brother.
