CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Michael Ervin of 2812 Independence died Friday, March 29, 1991, as a result of an automobile accident that occurred near Jackson. He was 23.
Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson.
He was born on May 8, 1967 at Millington, Tenn., to Charles T. Ervin of Jackson and Faith M. Ervin of Cape Girardeau.
He graduated from Jackson High School in 1985, and was presently a senior at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in physical education. He was employed by Famous Barr.
He was a member of the new McKendree Methodist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include his parents; one son, Brandon Michael Ervin; two sisters, Michele M. Ervin of Cape Girardeau and Suzan Pender of Clark Air Force Base, the Philippines.
Also surviving are paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ervin of Quincy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the chapel. The Rev. Otto Steinhous will officiate. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
