Michael Eugene Douglas, 50, of Scott City died Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky.

He was born Feb. 19, 1964, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Howard Taft and Betty Louise Faire Douglas.

He and Michelle Marie Jirik were married Nov. 27, 1999.

Michael was a truck driver with URSA Logistics.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle of Bismarck, Missouri; his parents, Howard and Betty Douglas of Scott City; a son, Jacob Douglas of Bismarck; four daughters, Chrystal Batie of Haysville, Kansas, Kimberly Lynn Douglas of Farmington, Missouri, Ashley and Emily Douglas of Bismarck; a sister, Judith Ann Cagle of Scott City; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Helen Kersey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, Missouri.
