MORLEY, Mo. -- Michael Edward Carey, 45, of Morley died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Edwin E. and Ava F. Bohannon Carey. MORLEY, Mo. -- Michael Edward Carey, 45, of Morley died Monday, Oct. 23, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Sikeston, Mo., son of Edwin E. and Ava F. Bohannon Carey. He and Charity Grissom were married May 19, 1997, at Benton, Mo.
Carey had worked at Lambert's Cafe in Sikeston eight years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Cameron Carey of Morley; his parents of Sikeston; two brothers, Alvin Carey of Benton, Edwin "Jasper" Carey of Jackson, Mo.; and a sister, Kimberly Carey of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
