Michael W. "Mike" Biri Sr., 50, of Jackson passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Alma Christy Biri. He and Brenda Diane Seabaugh were married Feb. 22, 1975, in Cape Girardeau...

Michael W. "Mike" Biri Sr., 50, of Jackson passed away Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of John and Alma Christy Biri. He and Brenda Diane Seabaugh were married Feb. 22, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.

Mike attended Jackson High School. He worked as a mechanic for B&B Auto Salvage in Jackson since 1975.

He was an avid sportsman and was a member of the Lazy 8 Hunting Club in Bollinger County, Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge 639, and Chapter I Gold Wing Riders of Jackson.

Loving survivors include his wife; two sons Michael W. (Teal) Biri Jr. and Bradly S. (Beth) Biri of Jackson; a granddaughter, Kennady Biri of Jackson; a brother, John C. Biri of Topeka, Kan.; a sister, Betty (Roy Dean) Evans of Jackson; three nephews, John L. Biri, Roy Evans II, and Dennis E. Evans; two nieces, Penny L. and Sandy Mulford.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. An Elks service will be held at 7.

The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ann Mowery officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
