MICHAEL A. SPRAGGINS

Michael A. Spraggins, 38, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995, at St. Louis Regional Hospital Clinic.

He was born Jan. 13, 1957, in St. Louis, son of John and Mamie Harriet Reed Spraggins. They preceded him in death.

He is survived by a daughter, Michelle Gavin of Harvey, Ill.; four brothers, Phillip Spraggins of Harvey, Tony Spraggins of Beverly Hills, Calif., and Gregory Starkey and Robert Starkey Jr., both of Atlanta; and a sister, Robin Starkey of Atlanta.

He was an insurance adjuster for a Los Angeles firm where he lived for 20 years. He moved to Cape Girardeau in November. He grew up and attended high school in Harvey.

Friends may call at the family home, 515 Second St. in Cape Girardeau, today at 3:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. at the home, with John Clemons officiating.
