MERLIN SCHULTZ

JACKSON -- Merlin Schultz, 54, of Jackson died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Sept. 19, 1942, at New Wells, son of Fred and Olga Hoffman Schultz. He and Marilyn Schuessler were married June 26, 1965.

Schultz was employed at Lee-Rowan, and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Mark Schultz of Jackson; two daughters, Cheryl Schultz and Cindy Fluegge of Jackson; two sisters, Juanita Hayes of St. Peters, Edna Stueve of Perryville; a brother, Gerald Schultz of St. Charles; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, and two brothers.

There is no visitation or funeral service.

McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
