Melody Anne Goode, 55, of Jackson died Monday, May 29, 2017, at her home.
She was born May 17, 1962, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
She was a member of the Salvation Army.
Melody owned and operated taxidermy shops in Texas, Arkansas and Missouri. She was an excellent taxidermist.

She is survived by several relatives in Linden, Texas. She also is survived by her adopted family, which is the family of Barbara Maloney of the Jackson area.
Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Brother Daniel Petrus officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
