ST. LOUIS -- Melissa Isaacs Presson, 50, of St. Louis passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 6, 1966, in St. Louis, to Sammy and Rose Randol Isaacs. Melissa married Jeff Presson on Dec. 29, 1990, in Arnold, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Presson; daughter, Kayla, and granddaughter, Jada, all of St. Louis; mother, Rose Isaacs, and brother, Scott Isaacs of Cape Girardeau; sister, Cheryl Altrogge of Fenton, Missouri; grandmother, Edith Adams of Cape Girardeau; mother-in-law, Margie Presson of St. Louis; aunts, Maxine Abernathy of Oran, Missouri, Sally Thurlkill of Cape Girardeau, Connie (Rex Grossman) Randol and Sherri (Scott) Summers of Osgood, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Kim Presson and Pam (John) Bundron of St. Louis; brothers-in-law, Danny (Sue) Presson and Kenny Presson of St. Louis; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Isaacs; grandfather, Silas Randol; stepgrandfather, Ben Adams; grandfather and grandmother, Ralph Isaacs and Ivern Isaacs; father-in-law, Cecil Presson; and brother-in-law, Steve Presson.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. July 21 at The Crossing, 1800 Bowles Ave. in Fenton.
