MALDEN, Mo. -- Melbalene Snow, 70, of Malden died Sunday, Sept. 17, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 30, 1930, in Flint, Mich., daughter of William Edward and Pearl Parker Rines. She and Curtis Snow were married Dec. 13, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.
Snow was a licensed beautician and owned and operated a beauty shop in Bernie, Mo., several years. She retired as a cashier at First National Bank in Malden. She attended Bernie Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband; a brother, William Rines Jr. of Malden; two sisters, Ines Whitehead of Pevely, Mo., and Evelyn Rabener of Torrance, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rainey Funeral Chapel in Bernie.
