CHAFFEE -- Melba Georgeanna Frankenberg, 79, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995, at her home. She was born March 26, 1916, in St. Louis, daughter of Harry Louis and Katherine Feldmeier Vogt. She and Gilbert A. Frankenberg were married March 8, 1975. He died Oct. 30, 1983...

CHAFFEE -- Melba Georgeanna Frankenberg, 79, of Chaffee, died Tuesday, March 28, 1995, at her home.

She was born March 26, 1916, in St. Louis, daughter of Harry Louis and Katherine Feldmeier Vogt. She and Gilbert A. Frankenberg were married March 8, 1975. He died Oct. 30, 1983.

Frankenberg retired as a secretary with Krey Packing Co. in St. Louis, She had worked at Chaffee Nutrition Center since 1983. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Chaffee, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Chaffee Golden Agers and Chaffee RSVP.

Survivors include a friend, Susan Pobst, Oran Route 1.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 3:30 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Nancy Woods officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
