Medford "Pete" Taylor, 93, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, at Elder Care of Marble Hill, Mo.
She was born Jan. 30, 1913, at Scopus, daughter of Ora S. and Arles E. Yount Propst. She and Merrell J. Taylor were married April 19, 1935. He died Dec. 7, 1954.
Taylor worked as the circuit clerk for 20 years in Bollinger County from 1955 to 1975. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Richard A. Taylor of Jackson; and a daughter, Winonah "Sissy" Ossig of Marble Hill.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating.
Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill.
